Nineteen boats competed this week in the Oswego Yacht Club Race fleet Wednesday night series which was the final race of the spring series. Three division championships were still up for contention. The race committee supplied by "Rake Hell" set up a windward leeward course in twelve to twenty knots of wind from the south.

The J/24 fleet took the top three overall places with Tom Doran sailing "Oz" in first, second overall was Charlie Krylo on "Seaweed" and third was "Truckin" sailed by Steve Woiler. In Division 1 "Hiawatha" was first sailed by Bob Porter, second was Dave Raham sailing "Dream On" , and third was George Nesbitt sailing "Luna Nova". In Division 2, Dick White was first sailing " Lil Chickadee" second was Mike Sorrell sailing "Colorme" Phil McBrearty was first sailing "Judicous". In the Non Spinnaker fleet Fran Enwright sailed "Sail A Vie" to a first place finish over John Heretyk's "Shockwave" and Joe Mather's "Dark Star".

The Spring Series final results are as follows: Division 1, first place gold flag "Blaze" Brendan Benson , second place red flag - "Hiawatha" Bob Porter third place blue flag "Crusader" Dan Mather. In Division 2 first place gold flag - Little Chickadee" Dick White ,second place red flag "Splash" Ron Smith, third place blue flag - "Alligator" Al Williams, J/24 Division, first place gold flag - "Oz" Tom Doran second place red flag "Seaweed" Charlie Krylo, third place blue flag - "Truckin" Elves-Woiler In Division 4 , first place gold flag - "Shockwave" - John Heretyk , second red flag "Sail A Vie" Fran Enwright.
